Little over 50% of all Australians aged over 14 years old feel confident when it comes to managing their finances and investments, and nearly a third never spend time understanding how financial products work.

In contrast, 47.5% of Australians do not feel confident when managing their money, an annual Roy Morgan Research Consumer Single Source survey of 50,000 people found.
